What We Offer

Services.

Kim Young provides high-level consulting, advisory, research and communications services grounded in development justice for governments, civil society, international organizations and academic institutions.

Decolonizing development justice means confronting and dismantling the power structures, narratives and assumptions inherited from colonial rule that still shape how development is imagined and delivered. It requires shifting authority to communities, valuing lived experience as knowledge and recognising the Global South as a producer—not a recipient—of development thinking. This approach insists that justice, equity and historical truth guide policy and practice, ensuring that solutions emerge from the realities, priorities and leadership of those most affected by global inequalities.

The work centers equity, structural analysis, Global South leadership and agenda-setting that aligns with long-term transformation rather than surface-level reform.
